Dear Church of God Teen,
The purpose of Teen Connections! is to provide opportunities for Church of God teens to get connected and stay connected. There are a lot of great kids out there in the Church of God. We believe it would be good for them to communicate with one another on a regular basis.

This issue’s feature: Corey Snyder
Teen Connections! recently had the pleasure to make the acquaintance of a young man named Corey Snyder who lives in Livonia, Michigan. He is a sophomore at Stevenson High School.
Corey’s interests are Hip Hop dancing, scuba diving, and Eagle Scouting. He is also in the Drama Club in school and has participated in four shows: Twelve Angry Jurors, Competition Piece, Oklahoma, and Guys & Dolls. He loves speaking Spanish and learning more about the Spanish culture.
But the thing that intrigued us most about Corey is that he has developed his own website. And a good one at that. It is www.youthperspective.webs.com. We hope you will take the time to visit Corey’s website and communicate with him.
May God continue to bless Corey as he uses his talents for the good of others!

Let us know about upcoming events that will be happening in your area. Tell us what you have planned for the future so other teens can read about you. Please email us your information. We need news from you. Let us know what events have taken place in your church with your local youth group. Come on! Share your news. Email us some pictures!
Weekend Lock-In?
Are you interested in participating in a teen LOCK-IN in Tyler Texas? The Tyler Church of God has offered the use of their facilities for this event. This church group has a beautiful new building they would like to share with other Sabbath-keepers. This lock-in would start on a Friday evening and end on a Sunday morning. You would need to bring a sleeping bag and a pillow. There would be music, games, fellowship, and Bible learning. Let us know if your group would be interested in attending. Invite other church kids. It will be loads of fun. Contact us soon!
Your Thoughts and Opinions Count!
Why don’t you submit an article to Teen Connections? Tell us your thoughts about how the church can better serve teens. What are your thoughts on how teens can better serve the church and the community. Your opinions are valuable. Don’t be afraid to share them with other teens. Every teen should feel like he or she has ownership in his local church congregation. And every teen should feel like he or she has ownership in the Teen Connections page!
God Loves You!
One of the most important things you can ever learn about the Bible is that God loves you. No, it’s not that God loves your parents and you are somehow just along for the ride. God loves you too. Please consider these Scriptures. These Bible verses are not just for adults. They are for YOU too!
1 John 4:19 We love Him (God), because He first loved us.
Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Matthew 11:28 Come to Me, all who labor and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.
